This exhibition was truly special to me. It came out of the blue—just before flying back, the association 181 degrés invited me to showcase my Bali exhibit at the last minute. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
Beyond that, Payerne holds a special place in my heart—it’s where I went to high school. Returning for just one weekend, 15 years later, felt both nostalgic and meaningful. 181 degrés gave me complete creative freedom to organize the exhibition as I wished within their incredible urban space, which was a gift in itself.
I hosted a small artist talk on opening night and spent the weekend welcoming visitors on Saturday and Sunday. And by Tuesday? I was already on a flight back to Bali.
