I started using brushes and paint at the age of three under the guidance of an artist living in my tiny village of Switzerland. Then I remember spending most of my waking hours sketching and drawing female silhouettes in the hope of becoming a fashion designer. Then I discovered partying and boys. That’s when being creative went down on the list of priorities. Also I had applied to an art school after high school and got generously rejected so I was pissed.

Flash-forward to mid-twenties when I actively got back to painting. Hard times and a need to get out of my head. Started painting a lot, namely pet portraits I was commissioned for.

Thirty years old and a will to change my life. I quit my job and moved to Florence in Italy to study classical painting. I wanted to become a full time artist but I needed two things: academic knowledge and some sort of legitimacy. After one intensive year at the art school I felt ready to spread my wings and go define my own style. Now I’m living in Bali and I’m painting daily.
